Vintage Kitchen Accessories

Now there are a couple things I just love in a kitchen, canisters and Pyrex. Vintage Pyrex that is. It's colorful and cute. I have a few pieces, but I would love to collect more. And canisters are a decorative way to store some of those things you just don't know where to put. I keep my cookie cutters in a few. As well as flour and sugar in a couple. Here's a bunch of fun pics I pinned on Pinterest of lovely vintage finds. I would take any or all of them. Enjoy!!  =)

Pretty in pink!

This pic cracks me up - a grease canister! Yuck! lol

I think this is Pyrex through the years.

This cupboard would be great in my kitchen. Amazing!!

One day soon I'll have to take some pictures of my small canister collection. I'd like to add to it, but I need a few shelves up on the wall so I have room for more. Right now I'd have no where to put them.

So do you share my love of vintage kitchen accessories? I also have a thing for bowls and glass pitchers. heehee Maybe I'll do a post about those too!

If you'd like to check out more pics of Pyrex and canister sets I've pinned click here.

  2. They're really quite fun, aren't they? The pink ones are very sweet, but I like the blue ones in the white cabinet best of all. By the way, you can bet a cabinet just like that... it's from Ikea :-)

  13. What gorgeous photos of Pyrex. Can you believe it's a popular collectible now? I had several sets of the butterfly gold and avacado green given for our wedding. I only have one butterfly gold bowl left. The silver and black cannister set is identical to one my mother had. Great memories for me. Thanks for sharing.

  14. I love canisters and vintage kitchen accessories, too. In fact I posted about canisters a few days ago. The kind with the metal latch closures are some of my favorites. I just love the blue and black and the pink ones in your photos. Oh, yes, the grease canister fits right in with yesterday's national day, Grease Food Day!
