Happy Friday ladies!! Sorry this is up late. It's kind of been a crazy week with Miss A being sick. Whatever cold or bug she has is no fun. Just when I think she's doing better, she'll have a terrible night of coughing and the fever's back. But at least she didn't miss dress-up day at school. They moved it to Halloween!
Needless to say, with my week being the way it was I didn't get a chance to create any new outfits. This week's will all be courtesy of my friends at Pinterest. =) I'm really starting to think they should be paying me for all this free publicity. What do you think?? ; ) Let's get on with it. Shall we?
Isn't this sweater amazing? It would make your waist look itty bitty. That never hurts.
Lovin' these riding boots! I really, really need to get some.
I've used those bracelets in one of my creations before. And the boots have also been in several outfits I've pinned.
The first dress to make an appearance at Frivolous Fashion Friday. What do you think, cute?
I have a jacket very similar to this. I really like it and it's super comfy. The mustard scarf, mossy cardi and brown cords are great fall colors.
I love a tank top. I live in chilly Canada and wear one at least 4 days a week, all year long. They're great layering pieces.
This outfit cold be worn on a warm fall day or a chilly spring day. The sweater is adorable.
Drama all the way with this sweater, scarf and red flats. I'm not sure I'd wear the skinnies though.
And you didn't think I'd have a post without a peacoat, did you? Silly you!! Yellow + gray = fabulous!
I just had to share this gorgeous and unique bracelet. Isn't it stunning?
So let's have a brief discussion about skinny jeans. Yay or nay? I have yet to find some that work for me. Although I've only tried on two or three pairs. It's worse than trying on regular cut jeans. Skinnies have the ability to make you look like a human pear, and I don't find that very appealing. Are you a little intimidated by them too? Have you tried some? Found any great fitting ones? Please share!! I'd really like to get a pair of riding boots, and I know they'd look best with a pair of skinnies rather than some straight legs jeans folded over and shoved into them. I guess I should just suck it up and get out there and try on some jeans. Who's with me?? : ) We should start a support group. lol
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend!

Loving the fact that it is sweater season again! As for the skinny jeans...i have an ever growing booty that looks absolutely awful in skinny jeans! : )
ReplyDeleteHi Catie, I am your newest follower. I came across your linky on Serenity Now. Very nice fashion sets :) So glad to see I am not the only person who wears jeans every single day. LOL! If you get a chance please follow back http://aspiringnewmoms.blogspot.com. You can enter to win Calico Juno - Cleopatra earrings.
ReplyDeleteI wear the "Rock Star" skinny jeans from Old Navy. They are pretty flattering, come in a few different washes and are easy on the wallet. Plus, skinny jeans are the BEST with tall boots. Go for it!!
ReplyDeleteI fear that me reading your fashion friday posts is a bad idea...
ReplyDeletebecause i want EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously.
SO much cuteness.
Love.
Love it all.
great pops of colors.
Love the sweaters.
Happy Halloween weekend Catie! :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. And I'm so loving yours! This is such a cute post seriously, i'd wear any of these outfits. As for skinnys- yes but you have to make sure that the bottoms balance out. Some skinnys scrunch at the bottom which helps balance out the wider hips. Those are my favorites :)

Hello Catie! I love this fashion blog - where can I GET some of this stuff? Are there links to the stores that I completely missed?
ReplyDelete@ TBM--- You need to put your email addy on your profile!! I don't know if you'll even read this response. You can click on the picture and it'll take you to it's page on Pinterest, click on the pic again and it'll take you to Polyvore. That's where you'll be able to find out where all the pieces are from. There will be a list on in the right-hand side bar. Hope you get this and hope it helps!!

Believe it or not, Chico's has some decent skinny jeans, at least for those fr whom fit in the waist and legs is important!
ReplyDeleteI love the sweetheart skinny jeans at old navy! Try them, they are great on curves.
